A Midsummer Nights Dream

Role: Assistant Stage Manager

Interlochen Shakespeare Festival's production of A Midsummer Nights Dream, brought together alumni Interlochen Center for the Arts from and faculty to create a stunning production in a outdoor venue. As the Assistant Stage Manager for this production I was tasked with stepping in for actors as well as creating backstage running paperwork. Backstage these tasks ranged from supporting crew members, keeping actors cool, catching props, all the way too watching our fluffy actor, Fisher the dog.

This production challenged the production team through serve thunderstorms and heat advisories. This forced us to take great care of how the set and backstage was put away and covered every night along with ensuring that the actors were safe during the productions and did not overheat while performing.

Though elements were challenging the production team and cast constantly banded together to great a unforgetable summer dream for everyone this production touched.
