Lucy Beckett-Ball is a United States based stage manager and currently attends the University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a sophomore studying Stage Management. Though she currently is in North Carolina, Lucy has stage managed through out Michigan and Wisconsin. She started stage managing in 2022 and works hard to apply her guiding principles of communication, safety, intent, and service to her work with the hope that she creates a space where people can flourish.

 

Before moving out to North Carolin Lucy attended Interlochen Arts Academy majoring in Design and Production. During her years there she worked in various positions such as the Company Manager for the 2025 Interlochen One Act Festival, Stage Managed many of their Studio and Main Stage productions, and during her final semester guided many of her classmates through designing a production of Macbeth that she hopes one day can be built. She went on to earn the Quinn Iris: Excellence in Design and Production Award and one of Interlochen’s Young Artist Awards for Design and Production.

Recently Lucy has worked on UNCSA's Fall Dance 2026, 2026 Emberlight Festival, A Midsummer Nights Dream, A Little Night Music, Beautiful: A Carole King Musical, Volpone, Into the Woods, the 2024 Emberlight Festival, Hamlet, and Network.
